My great-grandfather had a disagreement with someone who later turned up dead. My great-grandfather decided to leave the area until things cooled off, so he left his wife and kids and travelled out West and down South. In the course of the 2 years he spent wandering he collected Native American artifacts, which ended up in his attic. I am now the 5th generation living in the family house, and discovered these artifacts, which I present in my video.

Shown is a long squaw's dress, beaded headband and horse bridelry, stoneware (from stone), various tomahawks and other battle weapons, horse whips and arrowheads. My favorite is a small child's doll made from rabbit's feet decorated with beadwork to make the dress and human features.

Oh, and by the way, once law enforcement officials investigated and concluded my great-grandfather had nothing to do with the homicide, he returned home and resumed his life, and later went on to become president of the local bank.

great

I have never seen such an extensive collection of authentic American native history! I know the doll is probably one of the only dolls left in such fine condition! American Roadshow needs to see this!
