My Father's Gift
Before he died, my father sent two objects home from France during World War II: A carved chest and a porcelain bisque statue. They both arrived in the same box, several months after his death. The family has wondered ever since where they came from and who might have created them. The short shows pictures of my father as well as of the box, its contents, and especially the statue.

I think this story is so touching. That this man sent home gifts from war that survived when he did not; then to show up months after his death like a final hug. It made me cry...
