Come celebrate the 100th birthday of our Superior Wheel! It was built by Charles W. Parker in 1910 and had a long and colorful history before it was moved to Crossroads Village and Huckleberry Railroad in 1991. It even survived the flood waters of Hurricane Agnes!
Its ten beautifully painted gondolas - all original- are adorned with carved wooden scrollwork and mirrors. The top of the Wheel is about 46 feet high, giving you a tree-top view of Mott Lake and the Village!
The Superior Wheel shares a grassy setting with C. W. Parker’s spectacular 1912 Carousel and its herd of handsome hand-painted horses. In fact, this is the only place in the world where you can enjoy two side-by-side Parker amusement rides in full operation.
Joining them are the Mott Lake Flyer, Venetian swings and pony carts that provide plenty of old-fashioned fun for your little ones. To learn more about these spectacular vintage rides and Genesee County Parks' Crossroads Village and Huckleberry Railroad visit www.geneseecountyparks.org.

Crossroads Village
My family and I have been going to the Village for twenty years. There is a lot more there than just the vintage rides. The old steam train and the entertainment is fantastic and the buildings and the village are great for just wandering around.
loved it
This is the kind of real American antique that appeals to me. Used by generations in every day life.
