Civil War Memories
This Civil War Memories Scrapbook was compiled by
Carolyn M. Dillard (Killebrew)
I, Lois Denaut, inherited this scrapbook from my mother, Juanita Frances Masten (Farnham) (Ericson) and my maternal grandmother Lois Miranda Stiles (Masten).
The albumen photographs and lithographs are glued in the scrapbook.
I have found one connection between a relative of mine and Carolyn M. Dillard.
Hetty Leticia Stiles was born in Christian County, Kentucky. Carolyn M. Dillard helped southern men during the Civil War at Camp Alcorn in Christian County, Kentucky.
I don't know how my relative came by this scrapbook, but somehow believe Hetty and Carolyn were friends.
Some day I hope to find a permanent home for this scrapbook.

I enjoyed viewing your Civil
I enjoyed viewing your Civil War scrapbook. I, too, have sent in a video. The only official Civil War picture I have is of my great great grandfather, Seaborne Caswell Matthews, CSA. Thank you for submitting your video; I enjoyed viewing it.
